The 55 x 5 Method

If you enjoy journaling on a daily basis, the 55 x 5 Manifesting Method could be a good exercise for you to try.

You simply pick something that you want to manifest (eg: A new job) and turn this into an affirmation. So, in this case something like, “Thank you Universe for my fantastic new job!”

Then you need to write this affirmation down 55 times each day, over 5 days.

We realise that this sounds like a lot of writing! But the idea is to pick a short and succinct affirmation (no longer than 1 line ideally) so you it doesn’t take you too long and it will fit over 2 sides of A4 paper.

Depending on how quick you write, the whole process would take you approx. 20-30 mins per day. It’s important to prioritise this time for yourself to complete this exercise. We would suggest doing this somewhere you won’t be disturbed, either first thing in the morning or last thing at night before going to sleep.

So why is this method effective?

It helps you focus your energy and attention on what you want for those 20 minutes over the 5 days and this consistency is key for Law of Attraction to do its work!

If you’re obsessing about achieving a particular goal, doing the 55 x 5 method can help to take some of the pressure off. This is because you’re gifting yourself with this time to journal about the goal and specifically focusing on manifesting.

By the end of the week, you should find it easier to release and let go the need to achieve your goal.

You can also set the scene by lighting some candles, or even playing some music. Try creating a playlist of songs which fit your goal (eg: Money themed songs or music which makes you feel fired up and motivated!)
